Disproportionately, single mothers are affected by poverty, exploitation and violence.
OUR MISSION
Financing funding for poor single-parent women to start a small community business in order to support their families and educate their children.

OUR ACTIONS
Two types of assistance:
- Non-guaranteed loans with low interests.
- Non-financial support such as business advice to develop a business plan, start-up and implementation assistance, training and follow-ups.
HOW DOES THE FUNDING WORK?
Heelium contributes a minimum of 20% of its pre-tax profit, or 3% of its gross profit – the higher of the two amounts – to the Broken Heel Foundation. In addition, we encourage our business partners to contribute 3% of their gross profit generated from the sale of Heelium products.
The foundation also accepts donations from people who would like to contribute directly to the success of one of Broken Heel’s small business projects.
